Im kind of upset that Greyson is in the top ten?!?!? sigh... I had never heard it before when I chose it 4 years ago!

I am peace, full of unconditional love. I am confident and in tune with the Divine, receptive to guidance.

Neither of my kids' names (or our future kids' names) are on the list. Not that I'm surprised at all.

Yes, DS' name is #24. I love unique names and have had my top names for kids picked out for years, so I am a bit bummed they've slowly become more popular, but as long as my kids aren't in the top 5 or 10 I'm okay with that.

**** it all!!!!! And our girl name we have picked out is #1 It's a mix of 3 family names for us too. I'm sticking to it, we can't change it, but that really really really irritates me!!
Expecting #3 in January 2016!

If the baby I'm carrying around now is a boy he'll be named Oliver (#6), but oh well. I love it anyway.
Waiting for my Ollie Luc.

I say, if you love it then who cares?? Your baby is so unique as an individual and will make the name their own anyway The top names are top for a reason... you can't help if you like some of them

eli grey [9.15.10]
jude lawrence [11.9.12]

I think we're safe here

I don't want my kid to be "one of the (insert popular name here)s". I went to school with a majillion Ashleys and Matthews and wouldn't that for my child. I can only imagine how many -aidens will be in his class

Kat, mommy to Gideon (9-8-10) and Arie (7-6-12), and Evangeline River (3-27-14)

A variation of the girl name I like is there (Arya), surprisingly spelling it witha "y" gives it a vastly different (but much better imo) meaning.

Arya means noble, great, and truthful
Aria means lioness or solo melody, depending on the language

Now if I could only get DH to agree with me. He like the name but prefers the "i" spellying b/c he thinks people will be too "dumb" to say Ar-ee-yah and will instead say Ar-yah I doubt that will happen. His other reason is that Arya is too close to Aryan double

The official popularity list isn't out until May 2012, those are just popular names on that website so it isn't very accurate.
