the name Shea on a girl It would be on the list but Sean is on our list for a boy and I think Shea and Sean are just too similar for us.

I've never met a boy Shea, just girls. I have a cousin names Chalynn (Shay- lyn), which I love, if you're worried about it sounding too much like a nickname.

I know a Shea who is a boy, but all other variants of the name have been girls. shalyn, shailene.

however, what I REALLY think of when I see Shea is a surname.

LOVE the name, I think of this spelling for a boy, but I prefer the name on a girl with an alternate spelling
