I don't love it. In my opinion, it is important to remember that this name is going to belong to an adult someday, and I would want my child to be taken seriously no matter what they aspire to. I am not saying that Rex is silly or anything. I think that if you like it, you should go for it. That is just some advice I got and thought I'd pass it along.

First Impression, I feel like it's a dog's name.

But I've seen from other posts about there being a longer option. Then it wouldn't be so bad, then Rex could be a nick name?

I was looking at my family tree the other day that my grandfather made for his North Carolina ancestors going back to the 1600s and there was a Rexford in there somewhere. A first name, Rexford. Just a thought!

I think that Rex ages wonderfully! It is a very strong name, and very 'dashing'!
