The popularity list came out for 2012!

The top ten names were:

1 Jacob | Sophia
2 Mason | Emma
3 Ethan | Isabella
4 Noah | Olivia
5 William | Ava
6 Liam | Emily
7 Jayden | Abigail
8 Michael | Mia
9 Alexander | Madison
10 Aiden | Elizabeth

The 2011 list for comparison:

1 Jacob | Sophia
2 Mason | Isabella
3 William | Emma
4 Jayden | Olivia
5 Noah | Ava
6 Michael | Emily
7 Ethan | Abigail
8 Alexander | Madison
9 Aiden | Mia
10 Daniel | Chloe

The only new names to the top 10 are Liam and Elizabeth who knocked Daniel and Chloe out. Not too much movement! Thoughts?
Carly and Phil, proud parents of:
Alaina Rhoslyn {2.15.07}, Natalia Lorraine and Georgia Carol {7.31.08}, Penelope Julia {8.25.10} and
our newest addition Benjamin Philip {8.06.11}

They're all so predictable. Especially since I work at an elementary school, I see these names day in and day out. That being said, the only one I like enough to use is Noah.

I'm naming this baby Alexander nn Alex. However, my husband's name is Michael and we only had 3 other Michael's in the whole high school that we went to (Michael has always been on the top 10, so you'd expect more).

I like the current SSA names because they are more classic, rather than the SSA names of my time.

All names that are nice, I don't really dislike any of them, that being said however, I probably woudn't use any, just because I don't want my daughter/son to be one of the 15 "Sophias or Jacobs" in his/her class

Both my boys have middle names on there (Alekzander and William) and Jamason's nickname is Mason.

I really like a lot of the names on there - but I am hoping for something less popular. Olivia is one of my favorite names!

This is always interesting to me. Noah is #4 but in school (600 kids) & daycare we've never run into another Noah. I wonder where all the Noah's are??

My 2 miracles: Lucinda & Noah
