What are your thoughts? I like the nickname options with it......but the name itself sounds like a nickname or short for something....like Gabrielle

I like Brielle. Very pretty. Doesn't seem like a nickname to me. All the Gabriella's I know are Gabby.

I agree, my first thought was that the "Ga" were missing in the front and this was shortened for Gabrielle/a.

I think it's ok. Pretty. I prefer either the longer (Gabrielle/a) or shortened (Bree/Bri) version a bit more, but it is quite feminine and pretty.

I think Brielle is beautiful!! I dont think it sounds like a nickname. I also like the name Breelynn

My daughters name is Brielle, she is 7 and nobody has ever asked me if it is a nickname.

I think they are both nice stand-alone names. I prefer Brielle.
