For a boy - James Auden (but we'll be calling him by his middle name)

I think those are great names I have never heard Auden before!

I like Auden too. I've never heard of it either. Can I ask why you aren't using it as a 1st name?

Auden is the coolest new name I've heard of. I like it as a first name, but SO has a naming tradition on his side that has James as a first name and then everyone just calls them by their middle name. For the boys at least. I guess it's kind of like being a Jr, without the Jr/Sr/2nd/3rd/etc.
I guess when we get closer to the birth, if I feel strongly enough about it, Auden and James can be switched. But I'm pretty happy with it now. Both versions have a nice ring (:
