If we have a boy, I want to name him after my husband. But he doesn't want that at all. He's got the coooolest middle name, too-HungerMountain! LOL

My mom reminded me today that I was actually named after something, not someone. My middle name Camille was after the 1969 Hurricane Camille. It was an awful one. I raised a lot of heck and costed a lot of money. I bet my dad wanted to kick himself over and over about that. lol.
Life's no good if you don't love it.

Hi! I'm six months pregnant with my first (a boy) and his name will be Julian Andrew Scott. All three of his names were chosen after someone we love/admire.
His first name, Julian, is a tribute to John Lennon's firstborn son. Both my husband and I are huge Beatles fan and I'm a huge fan of John's first wife and son. Though not as popular as Yoko Ono and Sean Lennon, Cynthia and Julian have lived their lives with incredible strength, creative expression, and dignity. His middle name, Andrew, is a tribute to my husband's grandfather. My husband had an awful childhood and his grandfather was always a symbol of love, kindness, and acceptance for him.
His second middle name, Scott, is a tribute to my father who is a man who shows constant compassion, faith, and strength in all situations.

We loved picking out our son's name and having an opportunity to use his name to honor men who have played important roles in our life (or, in the case of our son's first name, are men we think just plain out rock.)

My parents named all of their kids (all 5 of us) after family members/names. Definitely a tradition I plan to continue!!

We do, but not straight forward. Greyson Merrick Hunter is my oldest. Merrick is for my dad, Rick. Hunter is for my maiden name Hunt. My other son is Truett Holden Gabriel. Truett is referencing a movie I grew up with and Holden is for my brother, his middle name. If we were having a girl, there would have been a nod to my mom, grandma, and sister, all in one lol But this one is a boy and I only know that I will use Rudy as a middle name, for my grandpa.

I am peace, full of unconditional love. I am confident and in tune with the Divine, receptive to guidance.
