We do not know what gender our baby is, but I need some help concerning one of the girls names I have chosen. We like to give our children 3 names, we have a Grace Ellen Amelia and a Lillian Hazel Judaea.

My dad's mother passed away last year, and I want to use her last name in our child's name. This way it not only honors her, but my step grandpa, who was a great man. Their last name was Blue.

So what can I put after Victoria Blue? We like Victoria as a first name, though an obvious way to do this would be to use a different first name. We could also move Blue to the third name, but I would rather it be on her legal documents. Lily's third name isnt even on her social security card, seems that you only get one actual middle name for legal purposes.

Victoria Blue __________ H***********, and our last name has 3 syllables, with the accent on the first syllable.

Thanks for your suggestions!

I like all of the ideas the others have given but have an option you can think about. My husband and I plan to hyphenate at least one name if we have more than one girl. You can always hyphenate Blue to another name and then both middle names would be on the birth certificate and ss cards. Also, it wouldn't matter the order of the middle names if you hyphenated, whether Blue was the first middle name or the second. If you liked the idea and wanted to (and probally pay a fee) you could go back and get your other girls middle names hyphenate on their birth certificates and ss cards as well.

Hope that helps. Good Luck!

PM to see if I am available to make a siggy - decisions will be made on a case by case basis.
