My first thought was, jarred what? Tomatoes? Pears?

The name Jared is NMS and Jarred seems misspelled because it is an actual word.

Yeah ... the name is Jared.

Jarred, on the other hand (it IS a misspelling of "Jared" I've seen before) wouldn't even be pronounced the same way. It'd be correctly pronounced just like the word jarred. Jarred what? Pickles? Or if another meaning comes to mind first, what would that be? Something jarred you (as in, surprised)?

At best, a word-name that doesn't even have a good meaning ... at worst, a misspelling that would make the parent look incredibly uneducated (that they didn't even know "jarred" was a word just blows my mind).
