Do you think it sounds trendy? I usually prefer classic names so I'm just wondering what comes to mind when you hear the name Landon?

I don't think it sounds too trendy but I don't know a lot of little kids. It's also up really high on the baby names list. But so are a lot of names like William-- I don't know if you consider that name trendy.

It's not overly trendy but I wouldn't call it classic, though if you like it then go with it!

It's definitely part of a trend... the Preston, Parker, Cooper trend. Last names as first names is very popular right now. For a long time there have been people with the last name Landon though, just as with the last names Preston, Parker, Cooper et al. So in that sense you might be able to claim that it's more classic than, say, a more made-up name like Jayden.

Yes, I think it sounds a bit trendy but not as trendy as Kaden, Aiden, etc......it's my favorite though, so I can't say that many negative things about it except it's popularity.

I have to say that I think it is definatly...maybe not classic..but old, BUT old names are trendy right now as are last names. When I named my son Landen almost 4 years ago I had never heard of anyone with the name...then about a year later everyone had it (which kind of annoyed me! lol). I think its a name that can go both ways. I have now seen two girls with the name as well, which I find odd.

I LOVE that name! It's just about my favourite, but DF doesn't like it... I think it's old and trendy... because right now, old names are trendy... :-)
