Hi there,
I'm a little over 4.5 weeks along and am wondering if there is a ton of risk with exposure to a few hours of rather heavy second hand smoke at this point. I have an opportunity to make a little cash tonight but the location is in an area where there will be some pretty heavy second hand smoke...and since both my hubby and I are between jobs (nice timing, little one!) it would be nice to get some money in so I can take care of my COBRA payments. :-) (incidentally, I quit my job - great paying corp job! 8 weeks ago due to an asbestos spill amid a host of other toxic envirnmental concerns...)

I do not smoke, my husband does not smoke and I am rarely, if ever, exposed to cigarette smoke...so I have a high level of concern with this tonight. All my research shows yes, there is danger, but I'm not sure how the studies were conducted...with consistent exposure or just exposure now and then.

Please let me know if you have any information!
