Lemon juice (fresh squeezed), a teaspoon of sugar and water if you are sick, especially with a throat bug

grapefruit seed extract for most illnesses/infections

tea tree oil for minor scrapes/cuts/burns

aloe direct from the plant (every home should have this plant!) for burns

lavender essential oils works for burns, also to soothe/help calm but I rarely use it for that

geranium essential oil is MY FAVORITE!!! for bruising. If applied within a few minutes of the injury (any longer and it's less effective) it really, really helps - soothes the pain with a wonderful warm caressing feeling, and keeps the bruising to a minimum.

I have a recipe for abcessed teeth that involves cayenne, slippery elm, & clove essential oil that DH can testify it works!

raw, unfiltered, unheated, honey works for a variety of things - allergies, blemishes . . .
