i had a week of brown spotting, so i had urine tests done, everything was clear and i'm not pregnant.

yesterday, the spotting stopped so me and the husband has sex and when i went into the bathroom to pee, there was a huge gush of blood and my back started cramping and my calf was tight...this was all on my right side.

i went to the er and they ran another urine test and said there was nothing wrong, it was just my period and that sometime when you have sex and your uterus gets irritated that there will be a gush of blood. they gave me anti inflammatorys and pain relievers, now i'm bleeding lightly but the one side of my back and my calf are just tight and sore.

it also feels like a bruise when i touch my right butt cheek, around that area, but there isn't a bruise.
am i over thinking it? am i worrying too much? just tight muscles and a period?
