So when did your little ones start helping out Mommy around the house? I know with my disability Alexis started young LOL but by her own choice though. I say about 22 months old she started to pick up things off the floor (and after herself) and started to put things away in the sink or throw things away in the garbage! She has become very independent quickly too. Not sure if that is good or bad though LOL.

Same with Emily...She started small with cleaning up her own toys and young as I can remember. Ryan is the same way...he picks up his toys. Emily now dusts the house and wipes things down. Sets the table and clears her spot after dinner.

Mine started pretty young, too. They didn't really understand what Lupus was, but they just knew that Mommy was sick. Now that they are teenagers, they help with laundry and cooking and all kinds of chores around the house. They are really good at helping me out when I don't feel well. Especially now that I am becoming a single mom again and going through a separation and divorce, they know I will need a lot more help since stress makes my Lupus flare more.
