Hi My name is Sherry and I live in KY for now.

I have a friend back in Ohio that is about to have a hysterectomy and she is so scared. Being that I have not had to go through that I am not sure how to support her and help her. What Can I do???? If this sounds dumb I am sorry, but in this case I am lost and want to help her understand too as well as I want to understand.

My advice to you is just be the friend that you are and just be there for her when you are needed. When i had my hysterectomy in july this yr my friends had no idea what they could do for me but them just being there when i need a shoulder was great.Every one copes with there hysterectomy diffrently so each person needs support in diffrent ways.I hope all goes well for your friend please keep us posted on how it all goes.
