I am starting this in honor of my son Gavin who was diagnosed at the age of 1 month with a rare cancer called Infantile Fibrosarcoma ... Gavin is now in remission and a very happy little 9 month old boy!

In the time we spend at the hosptial and with our own experience of Gavin loseing his hair due to chemo ... I came up with the idea to donate hats to the children who have to go through the devastation of loseing their hair.

If you would like to join Hats for Hope please contact me ....

I am collecting hats of all sizes ... Funny and cute hats are ecspecially nice! (New hats only please) ... At this time I will be donating them to Riley Childrens Hospital in Indianapolis , IN ... I would love to branch out in the future and add more Childrens Hospitals to my list in the future!

Thank You
Gavin's Mommy

This is such a great idea! I want to help but it will be after Kaylie's treatments do not require her to be in the hospital so much.

That is a great idea. Maybe my girl scout troop can help out as well. We just learned some sewing and knitting skills last year. We helped out with Project Linus a few years in a row as well.
They provide sick children with a special handmade blanket while in the hospital.
