I just ordered this book off ebay, normally they are $30, but I got it for $11. It's called Waiting for You: An Heirloom Adoption Journal for My Future Child. I couldn't find any pictures of the pages, but all the reviews made it sound really neat. Our second home consult is next Tuesday and the Thursday following that is the day we COMPLETE our PS-MAPP Training. Now we just wait for our approval and get our S.W. to send our completed homestudy to Dakota's S.W.. I am so nervous but excited at the same time. Hopefully we'll be a growing family by Christmas...It's my ONE WISH this year Yes, it's corny and sappy, I know

I've seen it. It looked great. It's so hard to have a "baby book" for a child you adopted at 4 or 5 or 8 or whatever. This is kind of a way to have that.

There is another one for after they move in with you that are really good too.

I prefer making my own books like that. I can personalize them more. But I LOVE looking through them and getting ideas.

Thank you to AlexAiden Mommy for my beautiful siggie!

everything she said. And it's not corny or sappy, hon, so let yourself feel whatever you need to/want to feel. Think of it as "nesting" for the adoptive mama!
