Hello all... I have a DD that had crossed eyes and a lazy eye. She patched every waking hour for a year and then had surgery. Her eyes look wonderful and she does not need glasses. DS's eyes started crossing around 18 months of age and we found out he is far sighted. He got his glasses a couple weeks ago and LOVES THEM. I can already see a huge difference when his glasses are on, but once they come off, SNAP. He goes back to his eye specialist in Sept and if there is "enough" improvement then NO PATCHING.... Praying for improvement.

Welcome. My little girl has a lazy eye but it only appears when she is tired so we are just keeping an eye on it. My nephew had surgery to correct his wondering eye and it worked wonders.

we had the surgery as well at 1 1months, but it was more drastic as it is called true strabismus, means it has nothing to do with cision or the eye shutting off but due to her other vision problems
