During this pregnacy I was determined to fit at least two sememsters in. My second wouldn't really be over until the beginning of May but I planned that the baby would be late. PERIOD. I was travelling three hours each way to school andwould leave Monday morning at 5 am and come home Friday afternoon. My schedule was gruelling with three sciences all with labs lasting at least 3 hours each.

The pregnancy was going fine. I had a low lying placenta in the beginining but my growing uterus took care of that problem. And because I had gotten pregnant when Gwen was only 5 months my body was already used to all the hormones.

On Friday morning, a week before my due date, I got up for class and found blood when I wiped. BUMMER. There was still a week of classes left and finals! I waddles over to the Science center with the paper I had edited for another student and turned it in to the teacher so she could get it to him. I then called my dr. on the Cape who recommended highly that I not try to make the drive home. Sigh. . . . Next stop Cooley Dickinson wiht paperwork in hand (my OB was preparing for this, LOL) Sure enough I was sent up to L and D where I called DH. I worked on my Biochem presentation until he arrived and then had an epidural and pitocin put in place. I then continued to work on my report and look trough baby name books as I had no clue what to name this child.

It was not work at all as the meds did it for me. . . . And the Dr's claimed they have never had such an easy delivery. We got to spend the night in the hospital in a room set up with a double bed and I remained until Sunday. Tuesday I was back in class presenting my biochem report, LOL AND I finished that ###### semester!
