I know, I know... I'm not supposed to be spending money. But I looked through all my coupons and realized, "this is the last day to get in on these, and these are waaaaaaaaaaaaay too good to miss!" So... I went to just use a few coupons that I could double up on (I had publix coupons for items I had manufacturer's coupons for, for double savings!)...

Here's everything I got in BOGOS and sales, and then I'll tell you all about my coupons!
(My original list was: 2 cans Bush's best, 1 bag of fresh express spinach for 1.50 and I had a .55 coupon, 2 boxes quaker granola bars, and 2 bags maxwell house coffee)... and here's what I ended up with:

2 boxes of Mrs. Cubbisons croutons
4 boxes of quaker chewy granola bars with less sugar
2 boxes of gogurts
1 box of gerber crackers for the baby
2 bags maxwell house
2 huggies cleenteam hand soaps
2 boxes meuller's angel hair
2 boxes meuller's tri colored rotini
1 bunch broccoli
1 banana The baby wanted it...
2 bags goldfish whole grain crackers
one shoulder roast for 2.69/lb. (6.46 total)
one 24 pack of coke

subtotal: a lot! 60.27

coupons: The coke had a coupon for 1.00 off of the coke, plus 2.00 off of any meat, they had 1.00 of EACH gogurt, I had publix coupons and manuf. coupons for the quaker, the cleenteam, a coupon for the broccoli...etc, etc...

coupons were:
and a 10.00 off purchase!

Grand total out of pocket paid: *12.66*

total savings: 47.61!!! woo freaking hooo!

gotta like days like this...

plus... I got some rebates from stuff I bought a while back (ken's steakhouse dressing and 8th continent soy milk, for a total of 5.88, so I actually am out 6.78 on the day!

Let me just clarify... I *never* would have done that good if I hadn't been in line behind my queen a couple weeks back. She had darn near a cart full of stuff for only 10 dollars! I watched her, and she had paper coupons AND publix coupons for the same items... I was like, "oh my gosh; they take manufacturer coupons WITH theirs? Where the heck have I been?" That is when I started to plot and plan my double savings trips... That's the first time I'd actually used them, though!

I like it.

I think I shall do it again.
