Well, we are having a much bigger party than originally planned for my little princess... there are some of my out of state relatives coming, not to mention all the people here that are coming! We're looking at about 80-100 people! I went to get plates, plasticware, napkins, and party favors and already spent 40 bucks... The cake order is in, and that's another 80! Good thing Dad's paying for the cake. Plus, I have offered to help feed all the out of towners, so I need to buy a bunch of food for that...

So much for my "spend very little" month. But this birthday will be memorable, for sure.

I am sure everyone will have a great time!!! Just an FYI for next time, I am not sure if you have BJ's there(warehouse club), but they have a bakery here and make very good cakes for much cheaper than most places. Happy Birthday to Maddie!!!

This is a very special cake with two pictures of her on it. It has her birth announcement picture and a cute picture of her with piggy tails and an adorable tongue smile.

The cake itself was only 59--it's the pictures that made it 80! But it's a whole sheet cake... plus, I have a 3.00 coupon, for it.

Well, at least you are still using your coupons to keep some of the costs down. I have found that no matter what budget I set for birthday parties, I always go over some amount. It's just too fun celebrating for our little ones!
