Next month is going to be my buy "nothing" month. I was planning on only budgeting $125. Now, I'm thinking about uping that a little and including my out to eat cost in that. What do you all think would be good. I want to make a major cut on this as well, but I don't want to send myself into shock Maybe $175? I'm not to sure if I can do that or not.

I couldn't even begin to guess. Some weeks we don't eat out at all and some we go somewhere a little expensive (well expensive for us). The weekends are usually what get me. I always want to go to a sit-down place on the weekends. We've been avoiding fastfood pretty good though. I think we grabbed it maybe 4 times all month.

It's an idea...have you tried setting an amount for eating out normally? Are you able to stick to it?

We keeps our separate. Our budget is a pretty loose one and some months we spend more than others...typically all entertainment is kept to about $100 (that includes all eating out, books for me, small thing at hobby shop for hubby, etc).
