I don't know if they were frugal for my mommy, but they were for me. She brought me a quart of delish berries. I think I want to hide them from the kids and eat them all after they go to school.

I love a perfectly delish strawberry. They're never ever cheap here, but when they're big and red and pretty, I can be convinced. Totally hide them from the kids. We won't have strawberries around here again until May at the earliest.

We actually had some really good strawberries the other day. $3.49 though! My weakness is buying fruit for the kiddo. Usually I won't spend more than $3 for something...I thought they were 2.99 but they were really 3.49, I already had them so I just got them. I've also been buying him bueberries which he loves but are 2.99 for 4.4 oz!!! He's eaten more fruit in his 2.5 years athan I probably have in over 2.5 decades! He loves it! I have a hard time saying no to him wanting to eat things that are good for him!!
