So I went to the CVS here in town first and it's a good thing I did-- the shipment won't be in until Monday because of the holiday. I'm glad I found out before we drove all the way out to the other store. So no Breezes for me tonight. But I did do the Soy Joy deal once. And I got to make nice with the manager again.

She was the cashier and she asked me how much I'd gotten back for the quarterly spending. Then we talked about that for a minute and how she got $30 back and used it on Nicorette to stop smoking. Then my $20 EB's printed out and she commented on it. And I jokingly said, "Want some Soy Joy bars?" She protested but ended up taking two of the mango ones. I tried to convince her I wouldn't eat them and she was welcome to them all. But that's all she'd take.

Okay, I tried one of the mango coconut bars. And actually, they are kinda tasty. I have the apple and the berry too but I haven't tried those yet. Not bad though-- better than what I thought they'd be.

My transaction was pretty simple:

20 Soy Joy bars--$20

Minus 4/20 diet/nutrition CRT, 3/15 regular CRT, (2) $1 coupons, and $9.99 EB's

Total OOP--$1.01 with $20 back in EB's.

I actually don't mind the ones I've had ... but I'm a crazy soy lover like that. And, I was at CVS today (I didn't get them, but alas), and the ad in Michigan is the extra long one in the little book. I don't know if that's the deal everywhere, but I was excited.
Definition (Webster's 2006) of "MandiK":
A 20something, graduate student, college prof, tree hugging, time managing, coupon addicted, cosmetic selling, dirt worshipping, girl who is in love with Ben and welcomed Sofie Grace on 1/31/11.
