Wherever I go he follows if I on ground doing exercises he comes over if I'm on couch on computer he will come to me and when I head to bed he follows me into bed and goes to sleep. I don't pick him up too much will give him a little pet when he nears me. Could he be attracted or comforted by being near my hair ?

Brendan wants Mr.Blackie to sleep with him and go to him. I'm wondering why he doesn't he and Mr.Blackie doesn't automatically go to Brendan could it be he's still uneasy of Brendan or he is just too overwhelmed by being smothered by him ?

The basic answer is that cats do things on their own terms lol

Sometimes they crave attention and sometimes they enjoy someone who is less hands on.

Get Brenden to step back affection giving wise and see if that helps.

Getting brenden to feed and play nicely might also help the bond.

Just don't be too surprised if it doesn't work... Cause cats are weird like that lol
