I've been on JM since last year - started off in the August 2011 DDC then, after my loss was diagnosed, joined the PL and TTAL boards and now frequent PL and the Oct 12 DDC as well as occasionally popping into P/MAL. Anyway, I wanted to pop in here and see if any of you had any suggestions to help me with my fur babies. I have two cats who are about 1 and 2 years old and they've developed (I think it started after we moved in September) the bad habit of scratching at the furniture. We trim their claws and they have a scratcher that they use all the time but I can't seem to get them to leave the furniture alone - mainly the couch (which was a gift from DH's parents), a fuzzy/fluffy recliner, and our (NEW) mattress. I do not believe in declawing but am open to just about any human suggestions to get them to stop.

Thank you, Bokkechick, for my beautiful siggy.
