ok, so we addopted Burg about a year and a half ago. He's a three year old ummm LARGE orange cat. He was skitterish when u would walk by him at first, but over the past year, has gotten used to the noise and "active life" in this house. he'll come and sit with u, but not an overly affectionate cat.
Well over the past two weeks, he's been acting like a weirdo. He's been TRYING to hide in my purse, the diaper bag, under the cariage, IN MY BOYFRIENDS LUCH BAG!!! anything to attempt to come with us places. But when u bring him with u, he panics and freaks out. When we don't take him, which we normally don't, and return, he's waiting at the door, meowing and oh so happy to see us. Not neccisarily an issue... i just have to check my stuff for stow aways b4 i leave to go anywhere!!!OH and he meows at the bathrroom door NON STOP if ur in there...
i'm just worried that he's stresssing himself out thinking we won't come back...
anyone else having an issue with an atached kitty?
oh this is Burg...

I was going to say the same thing. My cat would follow me around everywhere and it would drive me nuts!! That could be it.

We had this post recently on separation anxiety - maybe there are some ideas you can use? http://www.justmommies.com/boards/in...owtopic=280470
