Today my husband was home from work with our DD and said he started giving her the formula cold because she was crying and wanted to eat (try being home with her every day! Hahaha). I was at a dr.'s appointment.
Anyway, the books say that this is not a health issue- just a matter of baby's personal preference.

Do any of your babies take their formula cold?

Elizabeth drinks hers just a little on the cool side and loves it. My other two it had to be warmer or they refused.

Kaylin prefers it a little chilly. She will make a weird face if its warm LOL

I put it in the warmer for a bit to take the edge off - if she drinks it to cold to fast, she gets a brain freeze! So she generally takes them cool.

My baby was born in Nov. last year, I used to heat up his formula in the microwave for 10 seconds. When he turned 4 or 5 months, he takes his formula cold, he likes it either way.

Both my first boys took their formula cold and had no issues with it...I haven't tried it yet with Dylan but I much prefer when they take it cold, then there's no waiting for the milk to warm up while calming a hungry baby

My daughter would only tolerate cold milk and still only prefers drinks cold. She can't stand anything too warm. I think it's a deeply personal thing for kids. My nephew is the same -- can't stand his formula hot. He has his still lukewarm but on the cooler side.
