DS has reflux, and he is currently on Similac Advance. His doctor suggested starting him on Zantac, but I'd like to try a few other things before using medicine. I have done a lot of research, and I want to switch his formula to see if it helps. Should I keep using Similac brand since that's what he's on now? The only thing I worry about with Similac is the first ingredient is corn syrup solids, whereas the Enfamil has nonfat milk as the first ingredient.

Has anyone had luck with either of these?

We didnt have reflux to worry about thankfully. Hopefully you can figure out what works best for your baby.

I will say we use a gentalese type. Our ped was anti-Similac. We use enfamil just because it was what they started her on. We have tried gerber and she will eat it but spits up a lot more on it.
