I'm sorry your mom didn't respect your wishes but very proud of you that you stood up for yourself and what you wanted!

Sounds like a great birth experience!

I'm not a member of this DDC but I like reading the birth stories lol. Sounds like yours went smoothly, that's great! But mostly I just wanted to say my mom and your mom should get together. When I had Roald she kept coming into the room, trying to tell my doctors inaccurate information (even with DH there!). Then when I was induced I told them I didn't want ANYONE there (since it was a stillbirth)...and who comes waltzing into my room at 7 AM that day??? HER! WTH. I had to kick her out too lol. Then she sat outside my room listening to me labor for hours until someone told me she was out there so then the nurse told her to please leave and wait in the actual waiting room so I could have privacy. Good grief!!
Visit Terry & Roald's Memorial Site!

Thanks to Mommy2Belle for my Roald blinkie!

I can't believe your Mom was just allowed to walk in like that. I'd have kicked her out too!
I'm glad you had a pretty good birth experience!

Glad you had such a great birth experience! Sorry about your mom, though. I can't believe she acted like that.
