Colton is 8 months old and has been a great eater! He would eat any baby food except peas. For the last week I will make him his oatmeal or cereal and get him some food and he will only take about 5 or 6 spoonfulls. I think the problem is that he wants to feed himself. He would be perfectly content to eat nothing but puffs. I've tried sweet potato cubes, broccoli, cauliflower, cheese, and he just won't eat hardly any of it.

I'm worried he's going to be a year old and only eating puffs! Any suggestions?

maybe he is ready for finger foods. try offering him things he can pick up by himself and then feed himself.
also a lot of babies prefer "our" food. i know if Kyla sees me eating she wants some of what i have.
i hope i helped.

Thank you *Kiliki* for my beautiful siggy

Maybe baby led weaning is something that would work for him? This way he can feed himself and feel more independent like it sounds like he wants to do, and it will take a little of the stress of trying to get him to eat off of you.
