Have you tried any finger foods? Would she perhaps eat more efficiently if she had the opportunity to feed herself? I only ask because my little girl is 9 months and seems to be becoming more independent and wanting to feed herself - despite not quite having the pincer grip in order to do so effectively!

You know she likes pasta and you know she likes cheese, so there are 2 foods you could adapt. Or add veggies & meat to it in order to "break free" of the one dish?

You say she mostly eats once per day, do you still offer her foods the other 2 meals? Even things like chunks of soft fruit & veggies? Just so she is in the routine of 3 meals per day?
