Did you start using the mixed fruit ones and the mixed veggie ones and the macaroni and cheese and the more dinner ones like turkey and rice? Dylan is doing good with the plain veggies on their own. Hes not really big on any fruit but he has had all of the stage 1's so far. He is eating a whole container of veggies for lunch (size 1's) and then also some fruit. Is this too much? He definately lets me know when hes done.

When did you go to the ones that have more than one thing in them?

I gave cohen the ones that had more than one ingredient as long as only one of those ingredients was new. so if he had alreayd had carrots and peas and I was buying a mixed veg jar that had carrots, peas and potatoes, then I would give him that for 3 days allergy testing for the potatoes, kwim? You can start anytime as long as you stick with the only one new ingredient/food every 3-7 days rule.

Thank you Rawisner for the Siggy!

I have done the same thing as Tanya G, but I heard wait for 8-9 months for meats and pastas, but I don't know if that is true?? Another mom in my PR has already started meats. As far as if it's too much, I have always let Troy be the guide. I will stop him after 2 Stage 2 jars so that he will still drink milk, but he rarely eats that much.
♥Thanks you jaidynsmum for my awesome siggy ♥

You can start meats at 6 months if you want. Isaiah doesnt like cereal so I was told to use meat if I was concerned about his iron. I think its safe to give the mixed jars once they have gone through all the stage ones or atleast all that is in the mix. I would hold off on pastas and any other dairy till 8 months though.

I think for right now I am only going to do the mixed fruits and mixed veggies and hold off on the meats for a while.

Dylan isnt getting cereal because he was throwing up after it so the dr said to skip it all together. I am still nursing so I hope he is getting some iron from me. I guess I will have to ask his dr at his next appt and see what he has to say.
