What I noticed with both of my kids is that they did not take to the rice cereal when it was really watered down and that they liked it thicker.

Yes--Sometimes it takes awhile to get used to it. You will see that in the next couple of weeks you will probably have to increase the amount (as long as she likes it!) Welcome to the world of messy eating!

In regard to thickness--Troy was the same way--he prefered it a little thicker. Just keep playing with it and you will find what she likes!
♥Thanks you jaidynsmum for my awesome siggy ♥

Yeah, Donovan wouldn't eat it until it was a little thicker. When I started spoon feeding him the cereal he would only eat a few spoonfuls. Now he's eating 2 tablespoons. But he will only eat it if it's mixed with water and a little juice. He did the same with his other food too. When I first started him on jarred food he would only eat a couple spoons. Now sometimes he will eat a whole jar.

I read at first they may only eat a teaspoon so I think its normal, overtime it will increase.

Thank you Rawisner for the Siggy!

I also noticed that Dylan wanted his thicker. We had to skip the rice cereal all together though because of him throwing up. But as far as the amount, Dylan has just started getting to the point where he is eating a whole jar of stage 1's and he has been on solids for about a month and a half. So it definately takes a while for them to get up there on the amt's
