Hi there! I am forced to WTTC til my medical issue is straightened out.

Ob gyn doctor said I have benign cysts on both sides. Left side is size of dime. Right side is size of quarter. Ultrasound paper i have with me says "mildly complicated benign-appearing cyst with internal echoes within each ovary" He said he want repeated bloodtest called ca125 . My number was 50.1 and normal is below 35.
He said if 2nd result show below 35 then he will offer me birth control or laparoscopic surgery.
He said if my bloodwork shows above 35 then he's referring me to specialist to rule out ovarian cancer. He also said the ca-125 is 50% reliable and said the elevated test could mean something else like endometriosis and he can't tell til laparoscopic surgery.

Has anyone went through this before?

Age 36 with PCOS, poor ovarian reserve (.197), and blocked left fallopian tube.
We are TTC our 2nd blessing baby.

So sorry you are going through this! How long until you get the repeat blood work done? Lots of hugs to you.

First, welcome!
Second, that sucks! I have had benign cysts for as long as I can remember that eventually blow up but never had a physician be concerned about ovarian cancer or another complication. Obviously I was able to have Pax with no issues getting pregnant or keeping the pregnancy and no complications through it. I hope he is being cautious and that it's nothing serious!!
