So last night and today I'm having really weird pains. It's not like cramps or anything but it feels like my uterus and cervix are really sore. My lower stomach is really bloated and I feel almost like when you have to pee so bad it hurts. Does that make sense? I don't think I have a UTI because it doesn't hurt to pee. It does hurt when I press on my uterus though. It's almost like it's sore like I strained it. Can you sprain your va-jay-jay? Sorry if this was TMI but I'm hoping somebody else has had this and knows what it is!

Try drinking a lot of water. Sometimes your kidneys can hurt if you haven't drank enough water. Mine do that all the time - and they're pretty close to your uterus, so it may be that when you push on your uterus it's effecting your kidneys.

I have interstitial cystitis which means that the lining of my bladder gets inflammed. The same can happen to your uterus and it is hard to differentiate if the pain is coming from one or the other. I agree with the pp...drink a TON of water and flush your system. It still may take SEVERAL days to a week for the soreness to go away. No telling what causes it, but it happened to me just recently - about a month ago infact and it happens on an off a time or two a year, it seems. I check out okay with my gyn, so for me, it isn't much to worry about. If yours doesn't go away in a week or so, though, you may want to head to your doc and make sure you don't have a pelvic infection. HTH
