Any tips on wearing your baby in the summer? We had some warm days this past week (not even 70 though) and we took a few walks. By the time we got home, I was so hot! Is there a way to make wearing your baby a little cooler in the summer?

I use my Mei Tai or my solarveil ring sling in the summer. Mostly the Mei Tai though (unless we're going swimming).

So far the hotsling hasn't been too bad. I still really want a Moby but know that will be even hotter. Still, I need one to hang laundry on the line once we move!

I used my Moby in Disney and it was almost 90 every day. At first it felt too hot wearing it, but once my body got used to it, it wasn't an issue. I bought an Ultimate Baby Wrap yesterday and it is way lighter fabric than the Moby. I am going to use it this week and see how it works. So far it doesn't seem like he is as secure in it. I might just have to tie it tighter.

I plan on buying an Ergo this week. I had bought this really cool Kick'n Play thing for Matthew for Easter and he hates it....so I am going to return it and get an Ergo.

I was actually thinking about this too. I wore Kate in the MT into Target the other day and we were so hot I had to change her into the sling in the middle of the store! However, the MT does have minkee on the inside so I just need to use my head
Will was born in August so by the time spring rolled around he was big enough for a side-carry in the sling. Kate was born in December and she's not big enough for that yet, so I don't know what we'll do.
