Hello, I'm currently pregnant and my husband is very interested in attachment parenting. His parent's did it with him- probably before it was even called AP!

Anyway, it sounds like something worth trying, but I'm a book worm. So, I'd love some book recommendations.

"The Attachment Parenting Book" or "The Baby Book" by William & Martha Sears are good ones to start with. Actually any of their books would be helpful.

I also really liked "Beyond the Sling" by Mayim Bialik. It reads a little more like a memior than a parenting book and I personally think some of her parenting choices are a little on the "extreeme" end, but it was definitely an interesting read.

Good luck and welcome.

I love Dr. Sears too!
Someone on this board recommended "Attached at the Heart" by Barbara Nicholson and I picked it up last week and I do like that one too.
I also love "Parenting with Grace" it is from a Catholic Author who does incorporate his faith into the book just an FYI If that would bother you but I love that book.
