Time vs saving?
How much time do you spend a week clipping, looking and planning your trips?
Do you feel it is worth doing to save your household money? Why?

Re: Time vs saving?
Maybe a couple of hours in preparation. A few hours in shopping - depending on the week and how many distractions I have (like talking on the phone or children with me).

Absolutely! If I don't plan out everything and use the coupons then we wind up spending entirely too much money on too little food.

Re: Time vs saving?
I spend about 4-5 hours a week, depending on the week. I save so much money due to this and it is very worth it!

Re: Time vs saving?
I spend about 2-3 hours a week clipping, hunting and planning out my trips. About 1.5-2 hours in shopping.

It is so worth it for my family!!! For Oct I have saved $145 on regular purchased items from the market and drug stores.

Re: Time vs saving?
I'll spend at most 2 hours a week on coupons and planning shopping trips out in town. I spend another 2 hours at most planning my weekly menu and commissary trip. I find the time I spend very worth it. I know I could save more if I spent more time, but I refuse for my sanity. I also refuse to drive very far and this town isn't the best for couponing.
