Learning about birth
Where have you learned the most about birth?
Have you ever witnessed a birth?

Re: Learning about birth
At this point, I have read 1-2 books on birth, I have seen a movie or two, and taken the birthing class, plus read all the literature from my dr.

I have never seen a live birth (my sister had 2 x c-sections).

Re: Learning about birth
Internet! Especially reading birth stories and watching birth videos. I've also read a couple books. Before I got pregnant I didn't know anything about it - minus what they show on TV/movies, which always involves lots of screaming and drama.

I've never seen a birth in person, and I never would have wanted to before now anyway :P
