Educational Phone Apps
My john is almost 7 month old - and I'm looking for educational applications for my android phone,
I found this simple one that teaches counting - https://play.google.com/store/apps/d...abytouchnlearn (john loves it and mumble the numbers with it :))))).
Is there any more apps that you can recommend me?

Re: Educational Phone Apps
I also have an android. Barefoot Books has a wonderful atlas app for kids, but it's only for i-products. :( I wish I had it.

Wait... you said 7 MONTHS? Did you mean years? Yeah... I can't think of any reason why a 7 month old would need any type of app. Sorry. Have you considered board books, wooden toys, fist crayons, etc.? Developing hand-eye coordination, attention span, spatial reasoning, and problem solving skills are developmentally appropriate for a baby, but counting is something that is taught between the ages of 2 & 6, typically, and an app isn't really the best way for preschoolers to understand the one-to-one ratio of numbers either. They're not able to learn abstractly as well as they can with concrete items. Learning to count with concrete materials (like pencils, m&m's, toys, etc.) will help them grasp skip counting, multiplication, division, fractions, etc. later as well.
