I had a labor last night that resulted in a new baby born in the water to it's mother this morning. And today in my sleepy haze my oldest son asks me how long the baby was. I said 19 1/2 inches long. He thinks for a bit. And then he says, "Oh, so not as wide as this book but about as long this book." He was holding his writing book. I just looked at him with shock and said, "Yea!" I just love how homeschooled kids can think so out of the box. I love it! :cheer:

Wow, that's neat! You're right, there is certainly a "thinking outside the box" aspect that homeschooled kids demonstrate!
