Super Mommy

About Me

  • About brook&alorasmommy
    Edmonton, Alberta, Canada
I am a SAHM mom by day and work three to four nights (6pm-2am, uggh!!!) in a towing dealership as a warranty administrator. Believe it or not but I love my job and for once I'm doing something I'm good at.

Brooklynne is 3.5 and Alora is nearly 2 (in Apr). I love my girls dearly and there's not one thing I wouldn't do for them. I love to buy boutique clothes for them, they are enrolled in (Brook) swim, dance, gymnastics and art class and (Alora) gymboree, kindermusic, baby gymnastics and both girls love to attend playgroups once a week.

I'm soon to be divorced from the love of my life Kelly. He's still my best friend and I love him with all my heart but he's decided that the relationship was too much work and no more "inlove" on his part and called it quits. This devestates me but Brook & Alora and the sweet and silly smiles and laughters from them keep me going.

I have no family really, except a sister I talk to a couple times a month, but have a few good close friends. And I love the JM mommies. Without JM I'd be lost and alone!!

Apart from things with the kids, I love gardening, home decorating, shopping, photography and scrapbook and reading a good book or (non-trashy) magazine. I also cannot live without 5-6 diet cokes a day.

I support any cause that works to protect and save children, childrens hospitals, MADD, breast cancer, the heart and stroke foundation, the Edmonton foodbank, Unicef (I love my foster children in far off countries, I have four of them I support and send money to), Santa's Anonymous and Toys for Tots because ALL of god's children should get gifts for Christmas. One day, if I ever get to return to school, I'd like to become a teacher and work with young children (kindergarten, grd 1 or 2) or a pediatric nurse and work in our local childrens hospital. But if that doesn't happen, I'm happy working in warranty. I do have a longing through (for many years, along with my STBX husband) to take in foster children. This wouldn't be in the near future but in a few years to come when my girls are older. And now that I will be going at it alone, I'd still want as many children as I'd be allowed since I don't on having more of my own and providing a loving, safe, healthy and secure environment for them.

I'm honest, trustworthy, say it like it is (although I would never intend to hurt anyone) and have a big heart for all. So don't tell me a sob story unless you want endless emails and gifts!!!!!!!!!! :-)
