My experience... even if it was short
Well, I never actually got my BFP, but I had all the pregnancy symptoms and knew I was pregnant. I had to go to a residency for my graduate program and while I was there, I started bleeding real real heavy and... TMI... these really big clots and clumps kept coming out. I was wearing the overnight pads each day and the blood seeped through those within an hour and through my pants.

I felt faint one night and went to the ER where the doctor gave me an examination *down there* and did blood tests and an ultrasound. She confirmed my miscarriage. I was dilated some and my uterus was somewhat enlarged. I was still passing every thing. Afterwards, and this will be way too TMI, but I feel I need to share, whenever I went to the restroom and wiped, I checked each time to see how much I was bleeding and if I was beginning to lighten up. This was after finding out I was miscarrying. I wiped one time and saw this big clump and my first thought was "Is this my baby?"

I know I never really knew for sure that I was pregnant and I wasn't pregnant for very long, but I was still pregnant. And I still feel a loss. I feel like I want to cry, but I can't.

I just wanted to share my experience. Thank you.

Re: My experience... even if it was short

You go ahead and cry. You are completely entitled to and probably need a good cry.

Re: My experience... even if it was short
 Crying helps release some of the pain, so go ahead and cry...
