shy or outgoing
Is your gradeschooler more shy or outgoing?

Outgoing. He can be shy right at first, but he's very friendly, and will make friends with anyone. I've had teachers tell me that he's more of the leader in his class. But, he's kind of laid back and soft spoken, so kind of comes across shy, but he's not.

Hailey is more outgoing than shy. The only time I've seen her shy is when she doesn't know anybody, but within a few mins she will start talking to people

Re: shy or outgoing
He's "slow to warm up" but people call him "shy" so he's picked up on that and uses that word to describe himself. :(

He enjoys being around other kids and has friends of all different ages, but he isn't unhappy staying at home the way his extroverted older brother was.

He'll talk your ear off if you'll listen to him and treat him with respect.
