I wanted to mention Baby on the Way by William and Martha Sears, and Welcome with Love by Jenni Overend as two great books to talk about where and how babies are born!

I'd love some more book ideas, anyone else?
did anyone read what to expect- how is it from the natural childbirth perspective

IMO what to expect is a bunch of garbage lol ;) I suppose if youknow wihch parts to take and which parts ot leave, its ok - but there are so many better books out there! WTE is far more medically minded and seems to try to convince moms that labor is just a disaster waiting to happen in some cases.

I used the bradley book to teach my son - the illustrations were good, and I love the way they refer to things. The cervix as the "door" to the uterus, the uterus as a big bag of muscles. It really helped my son understand. And they also use the "turtleneck" representation - which helped him understand what was going on too.
