Maybe breech?
I'm starting to suspect LO may have flipped breech about a week ago. I'm not all that sure, though. I'm feeling almost all movement down low- against my cervix, bladder, and for a while against my rectum, but haven't felt kicking there in a few days. I *think* the bump I'm feeling up high is head because it is larger and rounder than what I think a bottom would be. Sounds breech so far, right, but when Baby has hiccups, I feel them down low, right above my pubic bone.

I'm not worried about anything, just curious. I see the mw in just about a week, and I'm sure she will be able to feel much better than I. Just asking to see what ya'll think. :)

Re: Maybe breech?
You've still got lots of time for baby to move :) But one way to tell the difference between the head and butt is that the head will wobble and bounce back a little when you push on it. Hiccups are a hard way to tell because they can move the entire body. If you have a doppler you can sometimes tell by whether the heartbeat is above or below your belly button.

My last baby turned breech at 36 weeks and made us all panic! So I got a good lesson in how to tell.

Re: Maybe breech?
Oh, yeah... lots of time and lots of older brothers and sisters have everything nice and stretched out for LO to move around. When I push on what is either head or bottom, it moves, but I can't really tell if it moves independently from the rest of Baby's body. Darn kids broke my fetoscope. I'll just have to wait and see. :)

Re: Maybe breech?
Going off of your comments about not feeling kicks down low, and feeling hiccups low, I'd guess baby is head down and what you are feeling is the butt. Of course that could change a few times between now and the birth ;)
