Question about uterus position with period/pregnancy
So this may come out a little confusing but I'll try to make it simple. My period is/was due today but she hasn't showed her face and isn't giving any signs so far of showing up but I'm not counting her out yet. My uterus dropped really low so is that a sign my period is going to start or could you miss a period/be pregnant, and your uterus still be in a low position?

Thanks for the help!

Re: Question about uterus position with period/pregnancy
According to google your cervix will rise higher and soften in early pregnancy but it doesnt always happen right away. Hope you get your bfp!

Re: Question about uterus position with period/pregnancy
Are you checking your cervix or uterus? I have no idea where my uterus is during my cycle. It's where it normally is during the first trimester, rises in the second, and then stretches out and eventually drops in the third.

In early pregnancy, like the first few weeks, your cervix should be low, firm, and closed. It will be big, soft and in the middle for most of your pregnancy, and in late pregnancy be too high to reach. I was surprised when I found that out because I had always read it should be high in pregnancy, but in actuality, it is very long/low. My ultrasound techs always mentioned it. "Nice and long...good." So I guess if it's high, it's short or effacing. Good for period time, ovulation time, and birth.
