What do you think about coordinating all the kids rooms. We are planning on doing both our boy and girl rooms in the surfer hawaiian motif....to matchy matchy?

I think thats cute but have you asked them what they want?

Sean and Lindsey look like they are old enough to give an opinion on what they want. Maybe you should talk to them and see if they are in to the hawaiian surf thing or if theres something else they would prefer.

All in all its your house but they have to live in the rooms.

I really like the hawaiian surf theme. You could paint waves on the walls!

Re: coordinating all the kids rooms
Good topic.

I don't coordinate or match the themes in my children's rooms. I love so many different themes and so it's a chance to do two completely different themes.

In DD's room, I have butterflies, dragonflies, and flowers - a garden theme. I plan to redecorate in only ladybugs.

In DS's room, I have a jungle theme. I'm not sure what we'll redecorate his room in. If he's still into firetrucks in a few years, we might do that and dalmations doggies (as we're big dog lovers). Or, we might do a football theme.
