Just wondering what size room is usually adequate for a nursery. We have two rooms that are possibilities for the nursery. The office which is on the back side of the house w/ the bathroom's b/t it and our bedroom adn then another bedroom which is diagonally across the hall from our room in the front of the house. The office is 9x10 with no closet. The bedroom is 9x11.5 with a small closet. Hubby is thinking about using the office and then just putting the small desk and filing cabinet and bookself into the other room and then be able to leave the dog kennels in that room. Part of the issue with picking a room is we want to keep the queen size quest bed in the room that it is in, but then we also have 3 cats and 3 dogs so we need space for the kennel (although we are probably going to take apart one kennel and leave the lab loose in the house at night and when we are gone since he is well behaved) and we need space for the cat tower and the two litter boxes (they are currently in the office).

Room a is the office with no closet and cat litter boxes and cat tower, room b is diagonol from our room with a futon and dog kennels, room c is across from ours- out of the question b/c it is the only room the queen guest bed will fit in.

Okay so the queen bed is not in one of the rooms you are thinking of using.

okay well... I would say use the biggest room to hold the office stuff and pet stuff... will that work?... or maybe put some of the office stuff in your room or the guest room.

Sorry if im no help... i know exactly where you are coming from.. i had to rearrange pet stuff tooo and now my pet stuff is in my "office" with the computer and all.

I would keep the babe's room close to you. If it's the one without the closet, you can always get a wardrobe or something to put babies things in.
